Tumor metabolism has emerged as a promising field of research, aiming to understand cancer cells' unique metabolic requirements and identify novel therapeutic targets. This special issue will focus on recent advances in the understanding of tumor metabolism, including but not limited to the regulation of glucose and lipid metabolism, alterations in mitochondrial function, and the impact of the tumor microenvironment on metabolic reprogramming.
We invite original research articles, reviews, and perspectives that delve into the molecular mechanisms underlying tumor metabolism and explore the clinical implications of targeting metabolic pathways for cancer therapy. Our goal is to provide readers with a comprehensive overview of the current state-of-the-art in this field, focusing on the latest therapeutic strategies and potential biomarkers for personalized cancer treatment.
Submissions from researchers and clinicians across diverse disciplines, such as cancer biology, metabolism, oncology, and translational medicine, are welcome. We look forward to publishing high-quality articles to advance the understanding of tumor metabolism and its potential impact on cancer treatment.
