Exploration of BioMat-X (EBMX) is proud to introduce the "Best Young Researcher Paper Award", an annual initiative to recognize outstanding contributions by early-career scholars in biomaterials. This award underscores our commitment to nurturing talent and amplifying impactful research.
Eligibility Criteria
First Authors must hold a doctoral degree (within 10 years of graduation or under 40 years of age).
Submitted articles must have been published in Exploration of BioMat-X during the current calendar year.
Authors who meet the above criteria and wish to participate in the award selection must include the note "Apply for Best Young Researcher Paper Award" during manuscript submission.
Selection Process
Preliminary Shortlisting: The editorial office will select 5 candidate articles based on their engagement within the academic community, including metrics such as downloads, online visibility, and citation frequency.
Final Evaluation by Editorial Board: The shortlisted articles will undergo rigorous assessment by an independent panel of editorial board members, free from conflicts of interest. Evaluators will prioritize research quality, originality, and the potential to advance the discipline in determining the final award recipient(s).
Award Details
Recipients will receive an electronic certificate.
The bonus will be 500 USD per article.
Recipients' accomplishments will receive extensive promotion across our journal's website and social media, enhancing their professional standing.
Recipients will enjoy waived Article Processing Charges (APC) for a certain number of submissions after the waiver period.
