Prof. Prabir Patra, Jerome A Gilbert Endowed Chair Professor and Founding Department Chair of Biomedical Engineering at Marshall University, recently participated in the prestigious 2024 Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) Annual Meeting, held from October 23-26, 2024, in Baltimore, MD, USA. During this event, Prof. Patra actively promoted our journal EM, to a global audience of biomedical engineers and researchers.
At the booth, Prof. Patra showcased EM's latest achievements through informative flyers. In addition to the visual display, Prof. Patra engaged in meaningful conversations with several visitors, discussing the journal's impact, scope, and the benefits of publishing with EM. His presence at the event not only highlighted the journal's reputation but also fostered potential collaborations and submissions from the meeting's participants.
EM aims to broaden our reach and enhance the visibility of our scholarly publications. We actively endorse our Editorial Board and Guest Editors in the identification of high-caliber conferences for journal promotion. Proactively pursuing further collaborative and sponsorship opportunities, we are dedicated to amplifying the reach of our journal and ensuring the widespread distribution of our content, all while maintaining free access to our research findings. This approach underscores our dedication to advancing the exchange of knowledge within the global scientific community.

The EM journal took great pride in sponsoring the 30th Congress of the International Society of Hypertension - ISH 2024 (https://ish2024.org/). This esteemed event, held from September 19-22, 2024, in the vibrant city of Cartagena, Colombia, attracted over 1200 hypertension experts and enthusiasts from across the globe.
As a dedicated sponsor, we strategically prepared 2000 flyers that were personally included in the congress bags of each attendee, offering a direct introduction to EM journal. Additionally, our journal enjoyed prominent visibility on the ISH 2024 website, including a special mention on the Confirmed Sponsors page, which greatly broadened our reach: https://ish2024.org/confirmed-sponsors/.
The ISH 2024 not only served as a congress but also as a catalyst for EM to engage with the hypertension specialists worldwide, enhancing our journal's visibility and fostering meaningful connections with medical professionals.
At EM, we are committed to expanding our horizons. We encourage our Editorial Board and Guest Editors to identify and recommend prestigious conferences. We will actively seek additional opportunities for cooperation and sponsorship, demonstrating our commitment to not only promoting our journal but also to disseminating our content freely and widely.
