On June 20, 2025, our Editorial Board Member and Guest Editor Professor Patricia Tai, promoted the journal and the special issue she guest edits during the Best of ASCO^® Vancouver Conference 2025.

The conference summarized key clinical advances from the 2025 ASCO Annual Meeting and brought together leading oncologists from Western Canada. The event provided an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of the journal among oncology professionals.

At the conference, Professor Tai distributed flyers introducing Exploration of Medicine and the special issue, Practical Tips for Cancer Care: Guidance for Patients, Caregivers, and Healthcare Professionals. The flyers included key information about the journal’s growth, and the benefits of submitting to the special issue—such as a full waiver of the $2,000 article processing charge for contributions invited by Professor Tai.

By actively sharing these resources and engaging with attendees, she effectively promoted the special issue and encouraged contributions from experts and scholars. Her efforts have helped expand the visibility and influence of our journal, exemplifying the vital role editorial board members play in advancing the journal and fostering academic collaboration.
