On December 26, 2024, the Clinical Medicine Branch of the Chinese National Health Association hosted the "Frontier Interdisciplinary Studies and High-Impact Academic Journals Symposium" at Beijing, China during its grand annual conference. The conference has obvious interdisciplinary characteristics, focusing on the latest research progress in the frontier fields of bio-medicine and its application in the prevention and treatment of major diseases, drawing an impressive audience of 54,000 attendees both online and offline.
A highlight of the symposium was the presentation by Prof. Mingzhou Guo from the First Medical Center of the Chinese PLA General Hospital. Prof. Guo as the leader of the organizer of this conference and editorial board of ETAT Journal, elaborated the journal's publishing strengths, thematic focus, and its promising potential for further progress in his presentation at the conference. Also, Prof. Guo spotlighted the special issue he curated as Guest Editor, titled Cancer Epigenetics: Implications for Novel Therapeutic Strategies. He encouraged researchers to contribute their findings and innovative ideas to this thematic issue and also emphasized that ETAT journal’s preferential policies of waiving APC before January 31, 2025.
In the meantime, ETAT journal’s leaflets and brochures have been prepared and placed on the desks of each participating expert, providing a very good opportunity for experts attending the event to deepen their understanding about the journal combined with Prof. Guo’s introduction.
This conference has further enhancing ETAT connection with the academic community. At the same time, it also injected new vitality into the promotion and development of journal. ETAT will continue to provide researchers with a high-quality academic exchange platform, welcoming more Editorial Board Members and Guest Editors to join us to promote the journal and academic research development in future academic activities together.
